Miss State beat Florida once but have to get over Vandy first.. i like Bama against Miss State/Florida in that order depending if State beats Vandy in the 2nd rd
Vandy is a test for anyone, but I think Florida had rather play Vandy than MSU. My prediction - Florida vs. Kentucky in the final.
Don't agree that Fla has easiest road to championship game, I would much rather play Ole Miss and Georgia probably like Kentucky has to than go thru Vandy and Tenn to make it to championship game. I'm a Kentucky man thru and thru and I think we got a break with the teams in our bracket. We haven't been very good on the road this year but hopefully our last game with Tenn will boost our confidence. The good thing is we have only had 1 double digit defeat all year, UConn early in the season and North Carolina at their place got us by 9 or 10. Almost all of our other defeats have been by 4 points or less. I look for Kentucky, Fla, Vandy, Tenn and Georgia/Alabama winner to make it in for sure. We might get a 6th team but I doubt it. As bad as I hate to say it the SEC just isn't that strong this year.
Mark I agree, Im a true Cat fan and the win over Tenn. probably was the most important win thus far. Still going to be tough in Atlanta though.
I hope they make the final four so I can see them... I won tickets and airfare through Bud light. Go CATS!!!!!
WhatI take from looking At the bracket is Florida has the easiest road to get to the championship of anyone in the tournament. The only team that can possibly trip them up they just beat in their house in Vanderbilt. Besides that the teams that need the most help are Alabama and Georgia they are in Joe Lunardi's last four out and I suspect if the SEC gets 5 teams in it's poetic justice that it be settled in a potential 2nd round matchup between them. I don't think the commitee has much of a choice but give the nod to the winner for the 5th team in the SEC, and as a league that had 6 teams in at some point according to Lunardi now is struggling to find 5 that meets the tourney's requirements. That says a lot in just how down the league is this year and if it not for it being a 68 team bracket I don't think 5 would make it. And John don't wimp out on us we need your predictions as to who is in and who needs to have a good tourney. Which game is the biggest for potential at large bid schools.
