Ten Players To Watch On National Signing Day

National Signing Day is almost here.

Several prospects will enter Wednesday with SEC schools on their list. Here’s a look at 10 key prospects who will make decisions affecting SEC schools on signing day.

1. OL Cyrus Kouandjio – DeMatha High School in Hyattsville, Md.
Will he join his big brother, offensive tackle Arie Kouandjio, at Alabama or spurn the Crimson Tide for rival Auburn?

2. RB Isaiah Crowell – Columbus (Ga.) Carver High School
He’s expected to join the “Dream Team” of in-state talent at Georgia. Can Alabama pull off the upset?

3. DT Gabe Wright – Columbus (Ga.) Carver High School
Crowell’s teammate has been considered a strong lean to Auburn throughout the recruiting process. Tennessee hopes it did enough to change his mind.

4. Athlete Brent Calloway – Russellville (Ala.) High School
He originally committed to Alabama before switching his pledge to Auburn early last month. He could sign with either school.

5. DB Erique Florence – Valley (Ala.) High School
He will either choose to play in the SEC at Auburn or the Pac-12 at Southern California.

6. WR Nickolas Brassell – South Panola High School in Batesville, Miss.
Ole Miss would love to add another wideout to its 2011 class. Alabama is hoping Brassell will come to Tuscaloosa to help replace Julio Jones.

7. DE Jeoffrey Pagan – Asheville (N.C.) High School
He has been committed to Florida and Clemson, but his decision on signing day will come down to Alabama and Georgia.

8. DE Jermauria Rasco – Evangelical Christian School in Shreveport, La.
LSU has been considered a favorite with Texas also in the mix. Can Florida make a late charge?

9. LB Lamar Dawson – Boyle County High School in Danville, Ky.
Kentucky has made him priority No. 1 for its class, but Tennessee made a nice impression last weekend and USC is still in the picture.

10. OL Antonio Richardson – Pearl Cohn High School in Nashville, Tenn.
It would be a surprise if he doesn’t sign with Tennessee, but Georgia and Auburn have a spot saved for him in case.

Two more before you go:

11. Cornerback Jermaine Whitehead – Amanda Elzy High School in Greenwood, Miss.
Auburn is hoping to receive his signature despite his commitment to Mississippi State. Whitehead visited Auburn last weekend.

12. Linebacker Kent Turene – Boyd Anderson High School in Lauderdale Lakes, Fla.
He could be another impressive addition to Georgia’s class. The former USC commit is also considering the Trojans, Nebraska and Texas Tech.
