SEC Headlines – 1/21/11 Part Two

1.  Auburn fell to 0-4 in the SEC as it lost 45-40 to Florida last night.  (The Tigers’ 40 points were AU’s lowest total since the dawn of the shot clock.)

2.  The Tigers just couldn’t close out their upset bid in the final moments.

3.  This writer believes Auburn will now serve as Nick Saban’s “white whale” of motivation in 2011.

4.  Chris Hines has become a “junkyard dog” type defender for Alabama and Anthony Grant.

5.  Arkansas’ loss at South Carolina Wednesday dropped the Hogs to 0-3 in overtime games this season.

6.  Senior guard Jemal Farmer is back with the UA team after missing two games in a row.

7.  LSU’s Malcolm White will go against his old team when Ole Miss visits the Pete Maravich Assembly Center tomorrow.

8.  Ole Miss will need to start playing better defense to end an four-game conference losing streak.

9.  Houston Nutt said via text that his coaching staff should now be complete.

10.  Dee Bost has been logging plenty of minutes since his return to Mississippi State’s lineup.
