Again, sometimes I think blind sheep are in charge of the Athletics program at Tennessee. The scheduling reminds me of December 13, 2010 when the basketball team had a home football game and their was a party the same night at the Tennessee Theater for Tennessee football's Greates Plays. Hello!!! As a Tennessee grad, I hate to say but I hope some changes are made in the Athletic department soon.

In years past, the Tennessee Spring game was held on a weekend when fans could attend the football game early and then catch a baseball game in the evening. It is common business sense to have your Spring Football game when the fans can attend a baseball game the same day. Shouldn't Hamilton want Tennessee fans to pack his newly renovated baseball stadium and help a program that is struggling both on the field and attendance wise? Business wise and for the sake of the baseball team it would make perfect sense to have the Spring football game (which draws thousands) on a weekend when the fans could have the option of also attending a baseball. I'm sure the folks at Alabama will promote their Spring Football game and their baseball game (which happens to be against Tennessee) in the following fashion: "folks remember after today's A day game be sure to head over to Sewell-Thomas Stadium to watch the Tide take on Tennessee, just present your A day game ticket stub for free admission." Why is that so hard for the UT athletic department? By the way, Tennessee is at home 4/9 against defending National Champ South Carolina, and on 4/23 against UGA.
