SEC Headlines – 11/18/10 Part Two

1.  Joker Phillips held a scrimmage for his young players this morning.

2.  UK basketballer Terrence Jones is heading home for the Cats’ game at Portland tomorrow.

3.  He can’t play yet, but Enes Kanter is aiding Kentucky on the practice court.

4.  Folks in South Carolina wonder why Rodney Paulk was suspended for a hit when Nick Fairley wasn’t.  (Again, it could have something to do with the fact that Fairley was flagged and punished during the game while Paulk was not.)

5.  The future looks bright for Carolina’s basketball team.

6.  Tennessee’s run game hasn’t been consistent… despite good numbers from tailback Tauren Poole.

7.  The basketball Vols held on to beat Missouri State 60-56 last night and are now headed to New York for the semifinals of the NIT Season Tip-Off.

8.  True freshman Trae Golden filled in at point guard and came up big for the Vols.

9.  This week’s Vanderbilt-Tennessee game will feature a pair of head coaches new to the rivalry.

10.  This week will mark the five-year anniversary of Vandy’s last win in the series.
