On Saturday night, Les Miles made it clear that he didn’t like all the boos that rained down on Jordan Jefferson’s head. After reviewing game tape, he probably felt the booing was even more uncalled for.
“I can tell you that it wasn’t a great night to be a quarterback in our offense, no matter who the quarterback was,” Miles said yesterday.
According to the coach, dropped passes, some protection issues and penalties contributed to Jefferson’s poor passing numbers.
“We have to be better at quarterback.” But, “Some of the things that Jordan Jefferson did were exactly what we needed. Yet we can improve his play as we can improve the play of a number of guys on that offensive side.”
