SEC Headlines – 5/27/10

1.  LSU is planning to add new donation requirements when it comes to buying Tiger basketball season tickets.

2.  The school also intends to move the student’s section to behind one of the goals.

3.  Mississippi State is working out details to play a basketball game with Virginia Tech in The Bahamas… which would be MSU’s first ever international game.

4.  Billy Donovan turns 45 on Sunday and he already has two national titles to his name.

5.  Donovan will face a team coached by former UF assistant Donnie Jones when his Gators play Central Florida in Orlando’s new arena next season.

6.  Don’t believe the rumors, Florida football signee Mack Brown says he’s qualified to enroll with the Gators.

7.  Florida’s strength coach says that UF has lost “those big name guys,” but the roster is still chock-full of veterans.
8.  Mark Richt told a booster group that “a lot of the ingredients are there for a tremendous season.  We’ve just got to go out and do it.”

9.  John Calipari has added former Oregon assistant (and former Louisville player) Kenny Payne to his staff.

10.  Payne will likely become UK’s highest-paid assistant.

11.  Incoming big man Enes Kanter in leading to a wave of pro-Turkey flags and t-shirts in Lexington.
