1.  Former Alabama basketballer Justin Knox — who was barred from transferring to UAB — “really enjoyed” his official visit to North Carolina this weekend.

2.  Former Mississippi State hoopster Romero Osby plans to transfer to Oklahoma.

3.  Former high school All-American linebacker Brandon Beal is going to transfer from Florida.

4.  From an all-sports standpoint, it’s not been a good year for Georgia when going against Florida.

5.  Mark Richt is hoping for some strong senior leadership in Athens this year.
