Florida News – 4/14/09

Here’s the news out of Gainesville today:

Here’s a look at how Florida has responded to five pre-spring practice goals.

Here’s your practice report from yesterday, which includes news that tight end Aaron Hernandez was once again uncoverable.

Injuries are taking their toll across the Florida depth chart.

In fact, four key members of the team are out for the rest of spring practice and some might be out longer.

Urban Meyer was pleased to hear that Matt Patchan referred to himself as his “own worst enemy.”  I’m not sure whether or not Patchan was referring to his hairstyle.  (Photo at left courtesy of The Orlando Sentinel.)

Finally, Tony Barnhart of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution writes that the Gator offense is going to have some new wrinkles this year… Tim Tebow’s throwing motion looks better… and backup quarterback John Brantley is going to be used in a change-of-pace package this fall.
